Locavore

Great little cafe/restaurant tucked into Bown Crossing! The atmosphere is open, clean and can accommodate many. The food is really fresh and tasty. Coffee is strong and the have plenty of Keto options including heavy cream for my strong coffee 👍 but the most enlightening was the very kind and conscious service by Erin. Goes to show you that staff can make or break a place. I'm just over snarky staff. Tip well if they deserve it.🤓 Thanks Erin

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the flies and I’m assuming those people haven’t lived in Boise long. Locavore is a great restaurant. There is a fly season here in Boise and the surrounding area and there’s not much you can do about them other than try to keep doors shut etc. they’re going inside to try to avoid the elements. It has nothing to do with cleanliness. I know the staff does everything within their power to eliminate them but being near the water makes it particularly difficult especially because Locavore doesn’t want to put chemicals all over when they try to be mostly organic and locally sourced.

Haven't tried the coffee yet but the pastries are great. Made in house. Worth the stop.
